Funerals
A bagpiper can play a lament leading in to church or a crematorium and then play outside as the guests leave. Sometimes the funeral director or family require the bagpipes to be played when the hearse is approaching down the crematorium path.
Bagpiper Alan has worked with the following funeral directors:
Livesley’s, Chorley; Kenyon’s, Chorley; Lengs, Manchester; Co-Op, Manchester and Lancaster; Moisters, Southport; Varty’s, Wigan; Walsh’s, Standish; Ian Wylde’s, Bamber Bridge; W. G. Brookfield’s, Sale; William Houghton’s, Manchester.
